Dull skin isn't tired.
It's oxidised.
Sunlight and city air create free radicals that damage the surface all day. Vitamin C is the antioxidant that neutralises them — and, over weeks, evens the pigment that makes skin look flat.

So what does vitamin C do on skin?
Two things. It is an antioxidant: it gives up an electron to the unstable molecules that UV and pollution create, before they can damage collagen and cell membranes. And it interrupts the enzyme that makes excess pigment, so dark marks fade and tone evens.
The catch with vitamin C has always been stability — plain ascorbic acid oxidises in the bottle and turns orange. This serum uses 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid, a form that stays stable and converts to vitamin C in the skin.

- FORM
- 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid — stable, water-soluble, skin-converted
- DOES
- Neutralises free radicals; slows excess pigment production
- SUITS
- First-time vitamin C users, dull or uneven skin, all skin types
Indian cities are hard on skin. That is the whole reason it looks flat.
Strong UV most of the year and high particulate pollution mean the skin surface is under constant oxidative load. The visible result is a loss of clarity — skin that reads grey or sallow in daylight — plus patchy pigment where UV has triggered melanin.
Exfoliating brings a short-lived glow by removing the top layer. It does nothing about what is happening underneath.
Two things make skin dull. Vitamin C works on both.
UV and pollution split molecules in the skin into unstable fragments that damage whatever they touch.

UV also switches on tyrosinase, the enzyme that builds melanin — patchily, which is what uneven tone is.
Treated cells take about four weeks to reach the surface. Nothing rushes this — which is why results are counted in weeks.

Why 10% is the right place to start
Higher percentages are not better for skin that is new to vitamin C — they sting more and are no faster at the antioxidant job. Ten per cent of a stable form does the work with very little tingle. When your skin is used to it, our 20% Vitamin C + E + Ferulic serum is the step up.
