Nature Derma
Breakouts · the complete routine

Acne isn't one problem.
It's three.

Oil builds up. Pores clog. Then the sun turns every healed spot into a mark that outlasts it by months. A single product does one of those jobs. This routine does all three, morning and night.

01 · The three jobs

What each step is for

Clearing oil, keeping pores open and blocking UV are three different jobs, done at different times of day. No single product does all three.

2% Salicylic Acid Face Wash
WASH
Twice a day. Removes oil, sweat and sunscreen so the pore has less to clog with.
2% Salicylic Acid Serum
SERUM
At night. Stays on for hours and dissolves the plug already inside the pore.
Aqua Sunscreen SPF 50
SPF
Every morning. Blocks the UV that turns healing spots into dark marks.
02 · Why most routines fail

People treat the spot and skip the sunscreen. Then they wonder about the marks.

The spot lasts a week. The mark it leaves can last six months — and it is UV, not the spot, that decides how dark it gets. On Indian skin the pigment response is strong, so an acne routine without SPF trades breakouts for pigmentation.

03 · The pathway

Three steps make a breakout and its mark. Each product takes one.

STEP 1Surface · morning and night
Oil and debris build up

Sebum, sweat, sunscreen and the day's grime sit on the skin and drain into the pore.

Face wash foam
ACTS HERE
The 2% Salicylic Acid Face Wash lifts oil and debris twice a day, at skin's own pH.
STEP 2Inside the pore · overnight
Cells and oil form a plug

Dead cells clump on the pore wall and sebum binds them into a plug — the blackhead or whitehead that becomes a spot.

Serum texture
ACTS HERE
The 2% Salicylic Acid Serum stays on all night, dissolves into the sebum and loosens the plug.
STEP 3Healing spot · daylight
UV turns the spot into a mark

As a spot heals, the pigment cells beneath it are primed. UVA reaches them and they build excess melanin — the flat brown mark.

Sunscreen gel texture
ACTS HERE
The SPF 50 PA++++ aqua gel blocks that UV every morning, in a texture oily skin will actually wear.
Same active in both treatment steps on purpose: salicylic acid is the only exfoliating acid that is oil-soluble, so it is the only one that can follow sebum into the pore.
04 · The number

Why 2%, twice

Two per cent is the over-the-counter ceiling for salicylic acid and the strength with the longest record for acne. The wash rinses off in a minute, so very little stays on; the serum is the one leave-on step. Together that is a complete acne routine — not a harsh one.

3products. One active for the pore, one sunscreen for the marks. Nothing else needed while you start.

06 · The honest timeline

What actually happens, and when

DAY 1–7
Less shine, smoother feel
The wash shows first. Sunscreen protection is immediate. A few skins see a short flush of small spots as clogged pores clear.
WEEK 2–3
Blackheads loosen
Open plugs on the nose and chin soften and lift.
WEEK 4–6
Fewer new spots
Pores are clearing before they seal. The breakout cycle visibly slows.
WEEK 8–12
Marks fade
With fewer new spots and UV blocked daily, older marks lift instead of being topped up. This is the step people who skip sunscreen never reach.
07 · How to use it

Two minutes in the morning, two at night

AM
Wash, then sunscreen
A minute with the face wash, rinse, pat dry. Two finger-lengths of sunscreen across face and neck.
Morning: wash, then sunscreen
PM
Wash, then serum
Cleanse the same way. On dry skin, two to three drops of serum across the breakout-prone zone, then a light moisturiser.
Night: wash, then serum
WK 1–2
Ease in
Serum on alternate nights for the first two weeks, then nightly if skin is comfortable.
Cleansing
DO NOT ADD
No scrubs, no second acid, no retinoid while you start. This is already a complete routine. Stacking more is how skin gets stripped and oilier.
